The Briggs & Stratton 18.5 hp single cylinder Intek ELS engine pushes this mower along at 7.5mph forward and 5 mph in reverse cutting a 48¡± path with 3 17¡± cutting blades. Deck utilizes the same heavy-duty cast iron spindle housing and a 1¨û¡± spindle shaft used in the commercial machines and is adjustable to cutting heights of 1¡± to 4¡± with the ¡°Deck Height Foot Assist¡±. Operator station controls use a joy-stick steering control system and has a safety interlock system that allows the operator to leave the mower while the engine¡®s running and the deck is disengaged to move obstacles or make other adjustments.
