The hood latch won't fully engage the hood in to the closed position. Interior: Normal wear for its age. Mechanical: Brake light is flashing and T/C light is on. Check engine light shows code P0420. Unknown grinding noise coming from drivetrain. Lot driven only due to hood not latching.
