LOCATION OF VEHICLE: This vehicle is located, for pickup purposes, in Caledon, Ontario PHOTOS: This vehicle has undergone a visual inspection and been photographed by CCP Auctions The current seller has owned this wonderful tractor for over 20 years and one of the things that prompted him to purchase it back then was the fact that this Ferguson had such clean rust-free sheet metal indicating that the tractor was most likely stored indoors for most or all its life. This fact made the tractor a good candidate for a restoration and that’s exactly what he did. The tractor was dismantled, and the hood and fenders were meticulously prepped and refinished to automotive-quality standards. The chrome items were sent out for re-plating, a new period-correct wiring harness was installed, and a full set of brand-new Good Year tires were fitted to the refinished wheels. T The engine components were refinished, the generator was rebuilt, new belts installed, the original data plate was restored, and proper decals were sourced and appropriately installed as a finishing touch. The tractor has since been stored in a heated/air-conditioned car barn alongside a collection of vintage automobiles.
